There are two things that I need to say about this game. The first is that it's better on the Genesis. Sorry, but it's just more polished and playable on that platform (apart from the graphics, of course). Of course, it's to be expected, since it was, after all, originally developed for it, but I'm getting off-topic. The second thing that I wanted to say was that Douglas TenNapel, the "stoned creator of the game", went on to create a claymation adventure game on the PC called The Neverhood, a spinoff platformer on the playstation called Skullmonkeys (think Mario but with Earthworm Jim's levels and difficulty), and a 3D arena game (also on the PlayStation) called BoomBots. I am a huge fan of his. To Zenx: You have to whip him and shoot him while he's stunned. You have to do it one more time for each consecutive level (e.g. twice after losing the first chase, three times after losing the second chase, etc.).

Stunning game, ahead of it's time! Get the Jap version as it's much tougher (US/Pal releases had the difficulty toned down) 90%

Stay away from this one..just play Final Fight. It has some nice graphics but it's too damn repetitive..this is not batman..just another way for the game company to make a very quick buck.

22%!? granted, DooM: Snes was rubbish - but the DooM name (prior to DooM III) alone should grant a initial starting value of 70% and then added upon! DooM on every platform is a must buy!

It must be said that for whatever reason Capcom decided to port over this excellent continuation in the Street Fighter universe, it was not to showcase the lasting power of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Yet what they have done, is nothing short of memorable, a love letter to all the loyal fans out there. This game is definitely for you. Inconsistent framerate aside, this is Street Fighter Alpha 2 in its entirety, and one definitely for the enthusiastic collector of all this capcom. Many were no doubt surprised when this heavy-weight of a game landed on an aging system. And for all intents and purposes this is street fighter, minus som drawn frames to help the SNES chug along at a forgiveable pace. Definitely a gem, if not for the spot-on gameplay then for the sake of great games, and times, gone by.

One of the greatest games ever made, and an RPG classic. I would have given it closer to a 9.8 or 9.9... maybe a 10... depends on how conservative and picky I'm being.
