Game: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble   |   Developers: Rareware   |   Year: 1996   |   Maximum No. Players: 2

What you see is what you get another Donkey Kong Country game. Although this game has a record of being a quiet hated game among retro players you cannot deny a good game when it's there. Very similar set up as the first 2 donkey kong country games but not as up to par. Still your standard side scroller fighting off crocs, avoiding bees, and shooting from barrels.

What makes this game not live up to the other Donkey Kong Countrys? Well donkey kong and diddy kong are both not playable characters. Getting from level to level is very annoying when having to ride boats of sort that are hard to control. Being able to save after every level lowered the difficulty drasticly, and it just seems when you play you notice the way it feels seems all off. Rareware may have made another excellent game with more effort but it fell short but is still a good game overall.

It's an ok game, I feel like DCK 2 and 3 took a good idea and mashed it into the ground.
